I'm working on a stunt map for VC. Everything will be custom modelled and textured by myself. The scope of this mod is to enable top speed and high tech stunts, even multiple stunts per replay. Skateparks and the style of riding in BMX, skating and scootering have a large influence on this map's layout, while still being conventional for traditional VC stunting. The use of secondary vehicles will be possible for some objects, but I'll be focused on laying things out to remove the need of them.

The method I'm using is designing each object in Sketchup, converting and texturing in 3DS/Zmod, and positioning each part in MEd/MooMapper, much like a THPS editor so I can move/add things where they're needed.

Rather than updating this first post I'll just post a reply with each progress.







A bridge, I guess you could call it. This object makes number 19 so far.

Also I've begun making some of the textures.





I can also tell you that the first video released on this map will redefine stunting and stunt videos several times over before the credits roll. I have a lot of work to put into this, in every aspect of production.

Any idea when the video will be put out? Will the map be released along side the video?

Hmmm, I've just had a brainwave.

People will be granted access to the mod files on an invite only basis, people that would truly know how to use such a map. From there they can create (or request) a map layout suited to their own creative vision. Even down to things like object textures, timecycs etc.

I'm a generous man. A lazy as hell man aswell, sure, but time has no effect on my agenda.
