Pc troubles.
« on: September 15, 2006, 02:54:05 PM »
I have that same thing Juan had-I start the PC, and it reboots, or goes to the F8 where you can go into safe mode, but it locks up when i try to pick one of the options.

:/ It worked for 5 mins, i talked to gunner, who i think has something to do with this, because i talked to him and suddenly closed it on him...Then suddenly after i leave his convo it reboots and wont log back on

I went into BIOS but i dont know what i'm doing in there...

Gahhh..

On my aunt's PC

Step 1. open your CD drive and put in a Windows CD...(if you have it...if not then ignore this post)
Step 2. turn PC off.
Step 3. Turn it back on and the CD drive should kick into gear
Step 4. press F8 like a dude fingering a girl.
Step 5. Choose 'Reboot From CD' Option
Step 6. When you get to a screen that says 'Repair Windows" choose "....Install New Copy Of Windows"
Step 7. Press F8 To Agree
Step 8. Delete Patricion "C:/"
Step 9. Install New Copy Of Windows In "Unparticioned Space" (it shoudl equal the number of Gigs you have on your hard drive"
Step 10. do whatever it says...

The rest I think you can do on your own...it's kinda common sense, but if you need any extra help, use a second computer and fill us in on the details.
