ok well i saved a rp recently and pressed F2 saved then F3 and the view was all changy and it kept flashing REPLAY in the corner?

is that sposed to happen?

nd wmm doesnt do reps what does? can i have a link to w//e it is??

move the mouse to change the view, check the modding section for a replay text remover, and you have to use a program like...
fraps (registered, or you have a watermark)
or gamecam (no clue about it)

fraps/gamecam record the games into an AVI format, which u import into ur editing software

a .rep file is the replay used in GTA... pressing F3 loads 'replay.rep' and the script tells GTA what to display. WMM or any vid editor will not recognise a.rep as it has not got the GTA engine inside it

Fraps 1.9d is free and has no watermark, ask around on msn or something for it and install.

As the almighty talking unit of tree-ness above said, run Fraps and pres F9 to start and stop recording. Load the files from C:\Fraps\ (Named gta-vc_xx-xxxx-xx.avi or something similar) into WMM or Vegas.
