Setting the bar for the crew collab?
« on: July 27, 2006, 09:36:02 AM »
Well, as some of you know I'm editing the new crew collaboration (the representatives one). Now what I noticed is that certain people sent in stuff that is just weak.

With PHENOMENON there were complaints about weak stunts: Should I leave the weak stunts out this time or should I use them?

As long as they did their best, you should let the stunts be in. You know, it's a collab, not an entrance for some huge competition

Won't vote since result depends on things I can't determine.

Well it depends. Use the weak stunts if they go well with the editing. If they're absolutely pointless and only make the video worse, than you should avoid them. However, if it's not hurting anything, keep them. Try to make the video balanced, with everyone having almost the same amount of stunts. That's probably the most important thing.

No, not at all... if they're part of the crew they deserve to be in the video...

it's a collab and every stunter should be able to have a stunt in the video whether it's ownage or a bad stunt.

What I mean by weak stunts is like 15 ft high bumps and stuff. Not a stunt that could've been done a bit cleaner or anything. I mean stuff that any decent stunter could land in two tries.

Your stunts weren't weak Juan.

Meh, I say as long as you're not completely eliminating a crew's participation (if one person had nothing but weak stunts) then take out the weak ones.  But all crews should be represented, so just bite the bullet and put in one or two if nessecary.
