They're 'forgetting' to give credit to the source sometimes. Personally I would just not do it, speaking with the experience of having some of our GTA V vids take off. But I guess maybe Brulla's boat stunt is different.

To beat 10 seconds you can export it from Vegas as an mp4 and then import it to Photoshop via Import > Video Frames to Layers then export as a .gif
