replay problem

Hello all i experienced a problem with the replay system
some of you may had it too some may haven't
so when i normally finish a stunt i press F2 to save it
so saves normally when i press F1 it replays
OK but when i press F3 to view it the game freezes and stops working
i have no mods besides dannye main.scm i clean reinstalled the game still not working

That's what we call a replay crash also known as the worst thing from SA. If you don't want it to happen again, when your stunt is landed press F2 and  rename you replay file, then go back to the game and repeat the operation several times before watching your stunt ( i use to do it 4 times).

so there is actually a way to recover "broken" replay  ?

i used to have that problem a lot back in the days when i landed something and was really exited about the replay and hit f2 and f3 asap to see it


when you land something and press f2 wait for like 4-6 seconds and then press f3 to check it.

i had the problem a lot but after ive done the waiting thingy ive had never had a broken replay   

e: i think the problem is that you try to load it the same time you are saving it so it make's it crash

press F2 after you done a stunt then wait for the bonuses to dissapear then f3. That's the only way. Or wait to dissapear the record And bonuses then wait 3-10-15 sec for sure depends for how long of length is your stunt .

All I can say that I have tried all the methods mentioned before and none of them has a 100% ratio of certainty. However, I still make (used to make) 4-5 reps after I land something to ensure my rep is okay, but I rather assure myself than the rep because I really never believed in it and also it happened to me several times that the first one was corrupted and so were the others. Fortunately I'd lost less than 5 stunts during my career because of this and I could reland them all as far as I can remember.
