It looks good, if you know how to work with the Curves you don't really need MBL except for more advanced/technical shit (Tilt-Shift, Lens Flares, Haze, Diffusion ect ect...). What is that distortion on the sides of the center though, is it intentional? I'm not sure if I like that, would have to see it in motion to decide.

I've never used that magicbullet crap, you can make the same ccs as with it in vegas anyway.

You're heavily underestimating it. Then again, you have never even tried it, so I don't blame you.

If it didn't have the awful trade-off of 10x increased render times I'd be using it, as it does have some neat features, but I rather try to replicate them without bogging down the resources.

Pretty neat.
That rsmb thing looks really cool, too bad it doesn't work on Vegas 8.0.

I already saw MikeyMouse and Determined .....

Determined is the one who taught me how to make good CC's on vegas, with 2 layers and playing with about 5 or 6 different effects.

Even if you enjoy MB, i'd say creating the CC manually by playing around with colour curves and the colour spectrum's really makes the CC unique and specific to what you want. It also reduced render times as Determined said, and it allows you to keep a lot of the original game colours in the video instead of draining the life out of the game.

it's a bit harder to manage the effects for me but it's really improved render time than MB .

You have a lot more options with MBL than you do with the basic tools inside Vegas, Premiere and other programs. You can do the basic look without it, and if that's all you need, then that's great, because MBL really does shoot up the time to render. However, there's plenty of great tools inside of MBL. Great film grain, lens distortion, flares, simple presets to work from, and more.
