I think it has to do with how you leave the ramp. You can basically hit the ramp and go up into the air straight away, or you hit the ramp, drive over it and then start your "airtime". In the first case, you disconnect from the ramp earlier, the distance will actually be further.

Yea the way ARS did it is hard to replicate but you get an enormous difference in stats. Landing inside that little staircase results in an ISB of around 620-630 with ARS' curb bump but with the regular ramp way you only get about 570-580. That's a massive gap. The difference can be bigger (not smaller, I took note of the landing positions) because it's hard to land in the exact same spot. The curb method landed slightly earlier but I doubt it's more than 6ft. I left the ramp at the same point which was easy to do with the normal way, just aim for the same spot  :jajaja:

Also since bails are ultra lame, this is my best unbailed attempt with the normal ramp way  :P I pressed ctrl+c instead of print screen so I included the replay ._.'
