Replays can be corrupted and there's no way to fix them. But there's a little workaround to reduce the risk:1. Once you've landed your stunt, don't move CJ anymore and wait a few seconds.2. Then hit F2 to save a replay, minimize the game and rename the replay.rep file you just saved.3. Go back into the game and hit F2 again, so you're having 2 replays now. Rename that file too. That way you can save multiple replays of the stunt you've just nailed. The chances of all of them being corrupted is super low and I've never experienced more than 1 fucked replay. I've never experienced issues with certain spots over the years at all either.Just never hit F3 while creating several replay files, otherwise the game's replay cache will be cleared and your stunt is possibly gone.
Do what Rusch said, but there's something even more obvious that people have failed to mention. If you're saving replays to a secondary hard drive, make sure the hard drive isn't spinning down after a period of inactivity. Windows sets this automatically for most hard drives, and if you save a replay while your hard drive is inactive, it will take a few seconds to save it. This results in corruption. You can turn off hard drive spin down in Windows by doing the following:Open control panel.Open power options.Click "Change plan settings".Click "Change advanced power settings".Open the Hard Disk menu and change the "Turn off hard disk after" setting to "Never".
Teleporting back after pressing F2 when I've landed a stunt before pressing F3 to watch it has been a surefire method for me to never get 1 corrupt rep ever.
