Might fit. Newegg has the dimensions for each card so you might wanna check them and get a list of what fits.
Nope. The only have them in like 10% of the pages I check. And my PSU is pretty decent so far. They recommended 400W for the HD 5670 although I think that was ridiculous. Going for a 7000 series is a bit too hard for it though I agree.

If I focus on a 1gb card, that fits my current parts (with or without upgrading the PSU) what should I take?

Are you focusing specifically on ATi/AMD cards or does it not really matter to you? You probably could go for Nvidia GTX 600 series card.

I really don't care what brand or type I will use. As long as I don't need to buy a new motherboard or PSU (unless I need to ofcourse because of upgrading). If Nvidia fits in my housing and it fits my board then sure I'll go for a 600 series. The problem is that I don't have enough knowledge myself to know whether it is compatible.

EDIT:// Got my money on this now:

Getting a bigger PSU is defo a good idea, 500W seems good enough. The 660 is a great budget card, but if you got the extra money I'd go for the 660ti version.

I'd tell you the same. Eventhough I like ATi's cards more when it comes to low-price/quality.

Just look up on Google what the HD 5670's maximum consumption under full load is. I assume it'll be something between 150-180W, so you probably don't even need a new PSU as newer cards are more efficient and need less power. It might be a close call, but sparing ~50 € by not going for a new PSU increases the budget for the GPU. :P

Most decent GPUs require at least 2x6 pin connectors and I don't know if your current 350W PSU offers that. If not, then you either have to go with a weaker card or really need a new PSU. The GTX 660 you mentioned only needs 1x6 pin and is a rather short card. You might just go with that or check out or Palit's OC model. Zotac has a cooler and more silent GTX 660, which is quite short also, but it needs 2x6 pin connectors. A 660 Ti or equivalent definitely requires 2x6 pin, so that kills it maybe, assuming your PSU only has 1 connector.

Ordered the Palit non-OC. The OC version wasn't in stock and with the boost function on the normal one I can get up to the stock of the OC one (although the boost function of the OC takes it even higher but meh). Which is more then enough really. Ordered a new PSU just incase. I might upgrade other parts in a few years so might aswell buy a suiting PSU now. I'd rather play it save then getting in the risky zone. Eventhough I ordered before you replied still thanks for the input   :P

@MxZz: Yea I am an ATI fan aswell but I was struggling to find a good higher end card that fits in my case. Most of them were either expensive or 10,5" long. Which gives me trouble because it may touch the HDD since I have an SSD in first slot.

Still in the way  :P And even if then the HDD would get in trouble with cables that need to go onto the motherboard. As we speak I am running this PC on my brand new Palit 2048mb GTX 660 and so far so good.  :) Getting the new PSU in was quite some work as nearly everything blocked everything else. But it's in now and temps are still low. Thanks all, I'll close this now (if I have the rights, dunno).
