I personally haven't played it yet, will get my copy in around a week I think, but maybe only in 1 month. anyway, who of you have played it already? what are your opinions? I can't fucking wait to get my hands on it, I am so impatient about it I am thinking of downloading it and when it arrives I replay it.

well i just played metro 2033 like a few months ago? on facebook they gave free copies if you like their page, the game was good! doesn't answer your question tho.

trailer looked nice, sadly the radioactive sounds remembered me of another (better) game...

I also got 2033 over their Facebook thing. The game was a letdown and didn't really catch me, so I stopped playing somewhere. I'd probably just give it a shot to see what got improved, but I'm not excited and therefore will most likely not get it. 2033's performance seemed pretty bad and I don't know what to think of it's visuals. It looked awesome at parts, whereas it didn't at many others. It just felt badly coded kinda, but then again all those lightings should be quite performance hungry.

@ ⓞutworld Destroyer: Nah man, the hardware recommendations aren't even much higher than the 2033 ones. I assume they just improved performance and polished their A4 engine a little. GTX 660 Ti or higher can handle it maxed in addition of other good components.

got my copy yesterday, finished it today. around 8-9 hours of massive art and excitement for me. definitely the best game this year, I think it's even better than BioShock: Infinite. it was just fucking brilliant. the ending was also great, but I wish we could prevent it and get another ending, because I almost cried when the whole thing happened and this fucking beautiful piano play came in the credits.
we also fucked Anna who was boasting us in the beginning of the game, AND GOT A KID FROM HER
all in all, I loved it. the ruined Moscow in the future looks just beautiful, though this sounds weird. I recommend this game to everyone, but if you haven't, finish Metro: 2033 first.
