New Video Introduction
« on: April 18, 2012, 01:06:46 PM »
Hey guys, i'm making a new stunt montage and i just wondered what you thought of this intro. It's basically just to see if it's worth putting the effort in to create the rest of the video, because if this intro is crap then i'll put the effort into correcting it. The story to this montage is that I am so annoyed at people using common songs to montages, and typical instrumentals, I believe montages should be full of energy and make you excited rather than relaxed. At the end of this intro the song Isolation - Alter Bridge will kick in to provide the audio for the rest of the video. Cheers guys, i'd love to hear your feedback and criticism is welcome as long as it's helpful.

I thought that heavy rock songs are & have always been most commonly used in montages, I like the atmospheric vids personally.

I'd say the intro is well worth working on, it's kinda sketchy now but it has a nice feel to it.

Many of the montages I have watched are based around instrumentals, it's not that I don't enjoy those montages, it's that for me personally I feel like they've lost their emotional qualities simply because i've seen so many set out in the same way.
And cheers, it's bloody difficult to create anything of cinematic qualities on the ps3 with a cheap old capture card and  next to nothing editing software XD But we'll see where this goes.
