Certain effect
« on: December 20, 2011, 08:00:16 AM »
I have seen an effect quite alot lately.. And I was wondering how I could actually create it. I heard people saying it just a transition but I cannot seem to find it  :hmm: Well actually I have quite a few questions  :P

1.

Fort Carson

0:34.. That colored transition rainbow style thing.

2.

The first effect I was talking about.. it is getting used alot lately but I have no clue what so ever..

Storm Freerun - Volume 1
1:12 .. the colors when he gets when he lands.

Another example:

PHOTOREALISM

The distortion effect when he changes cam angle exiting the half pipe.. I just got no clue.. again

3. What kind of flashes do you guys use in videos? Mine always look to hard, well atleast for me. Or do you use glow instead?

First - If i'm not wrong, it would be Pinch/Punch effect + 4 color gradient from media generator

Second - This one can be done in so many ways , I'd say the easier is using Trapcode particular plugin for AAE

Hope i could help =]

1: CW said on the video topic that he used some mask thingy, I want to discover it too, but I wsa looking for some variation on that one with some Zenote effect.

2: It's a Zenoté effect too (it's called Blur I think) For make that blue/green/red "shear energy" you have to remove all the blur from that effect and just let the colors in, then you make some "points" at the clip and you move it as you want.

3: Looks like a normal 3-4 secs transition with some Motion blur too. He could've used Newblue transitions (Halo) lol just saw valu's answer :P

1. lol guys, its spherize (pinch/punch looks better imo) with Media-generators: standard gradient on a layer with add.

I'll see what I can do with this. I do not have AAE at the moment but well.. There are some really cheap stores at which you can buy it.

Just saw this topic.

My effect needs:

2 Layers

Top layer on "Add" mode. Put a color gradient out of Vegas presets over it.
Bottom layer pinch/punch effect together with radial blur.

Easy
