Anyway I don't care if he looks different or if he's in a different location, we don't even have a basic understanding of the game's story yet. I think it looks cool but I think people are wrong to nitpick at this when it's just a teaser trailer, that's just my opinion.
Please stop saying "that's just my opinion" because I know it is and you don't have to find some sort of excuse or something for what you are saying. People tend to disagree on stuff, that's the nature of discussion. ;)

As for the game, we know enough from the teaser to know that he most likely "fled his history" and went to Sao Paulo just to find out the world is just as fucked up there as it is anywhere and he apparently brought another girl into trouble which he now needs to set straight. Basically, they could have created any plot they wanted and called it Max Payne 3 because the real Max Payne story ended with the 2nd game. But I guess my point is clear, so I'll try and stop falling into repetition.

That said, I don't hold any grudge against the game itself. For all I know the game will be amazing, the only thing that bothers me is they label it a Max Payne game, it feels like they just name it that to gain more cash from it and I think that's wrong. It's like people making a horribly failed sequel to an amazing movie that didn't even need a sequel to begin with.
