I need a list of what collisions in LC need to be fixed.. I know there are a buttload and I really can't be arsed to go around the city finding them all so who better to ask than you guys, what collisions are missing and or incorrect?

I told the leader of the LC mod that I would do this AGES ago and I started to but never got a list of what ones needed fixing so it fell to the back of my to do list. Right now I'm still working on PedRising and Vice Andreas but I'm waiting on a few things for VA and Casey for PedRising so I figured I'd do the work on LC I was supposed to months ago :lol:

so could you guys get me a picture of every building or fence or.. anything.. any part/parts of the map that need editing and post the pictures here, once I get enough then I'll open up MEd *moo mapper stopped working -.- * find the file names then get to work. I won't release them here but after I get this done along with the ped rigging I was meant to do, he will probably release the next LC beta so you guys will be able to download that n grab all the fixes :)

And they're all I can think of... any others I've missed? some of the ones where fixing them would lead to a dead drop into a place you can't escape I might just edit the dff to look like there's a roof there instead

Also I can't decide whether or not to update the tri billboards to be more realistic.. they'd be harder to precision which would be good but I duno..

Don't do the tri billboards, they'll become the hardest thing to land (or bump). I know one place with a wrong col but I cba to screen it right now, will do later.

Damn it, I was going to release a LC Collision fix in a month or so as a surprise. Since you already have alot of work to do, why don't you let me do this one?

I have already fixed 95% of collisions on the first island and about 40% on the second.

Yeah, Gavran told me about his project a few times. It sounds really promising and he's been at it for a while.

About the tribillboard thing (also aimed at Gavran), I think you should leave some things as it is as far as fixing the collisions for stunt matters. I mean those billboards are just known to be like that and to be landed and it's a commonly accepted fact. Same might go for some other things but most of em really need an update like the ones in your pictures. :P Also, someone should fix the bridge tops so you can land em with taxi's.

I will add you on MSN, but I won't be on much due to my CPU burning down yesterday. I will of course get a new one soon.

@Genyus: I have left the tri-Billboards as they are now, some things will stay as they are (some vegetable for instance trees, some bushes) with more. The last thing I was working on was actually the bridge, I will start working on this again as soon as I get my new CPU.

righteo mang, also leave things that don't really get touched much and wouldn't be made any better by "fixing" them, the power line towers at the docks are fine as is up top, they're a bit wider and slightly easier to land this way XD

also once you can start working on this again, let me know because in all honesty, it's like 20 minutes of work once in max but I'm guessing you're new to modeling? so I'll help you with that schtuff

oh and the other thing I'm working on for the LC mod is converting all the rest of the peds that weren't done in the 1st place.. uhh.. urgh I hate rigging :( and there are like 40 :( ohh ohh and making a seafloor to cover up those pesky tunnels

I was actually planning on fixing everything, yes exactly EVERYTHING. I have already managed to do so on the first island (95%) so I don't see why I shouldn't fix it all. I am going for realism here (as much as possible), so I will fix those cabletowers at the docks! Muahaha.

Also I am not new to modelling, because I have never done it before. I don't need to model for about 95% of the objects, though some require modelling and your help (either teach me simple modelling or do it yourself) would be great. I am installing MSN on my Pa's awful PC now, it will be ready in a few minutes. Talk to you then about the details I guess.

I will work on it as soon as my computer is up and running, which will take a couple of days.
Obviously this will open up alot of new possibilites, but it will also make some stunts impossible (taxiboosting for example would not really be that good in this mod)

I don't really need any tips on what to fix, since I know all the collisions that needs fixing. Hopefully Flat Face can help me with some of the tricky ones, but as I said earlier 95% of the first island is done.

Fix teh first picture as fast as you can, i ahve a spot there but i can't do so long runup cuz disappears the vehicle setup :P
