Indeed. I was worried when I heard a different company was purchasing the rights, but was well pleased when I got it.

Except the lack of split screen which is a total sack of shit...

uh, EA's always had need for speed? I assume you mean the developer, Criterion, who EA owns (as far as I know)?

Yea EA has. And yea EA bought Criterion awhile back, but still. its always a little sketchy when they throw a new name on a game they already make. as if they dont want to be responsible if it fails.

Holy Fuck. Check out this crash I just got

I have played it on PC but got bored pretty fast. Even though I'm a big fan of NFS and arcade racing in general I felt like this was a little too easy, especially when it comes to handling and steering. Powersliding through every turn in 200+ kmph is fun for a while, but then it just became repetitive. I actually had to struggle to oversteer and spin around. Also, why are there no proper starts? Stupid and unchallanging to start every race in 160 kmph imo.

It's boring and hard because of the 20 levels you have to pass and of those time trials from the cops where you must not hit the car because of the penalties. The game would be more enjoyable. If there would be only Hot Pursuits...
