Vegas and Fraps audio
« on: June 15, 2005, 07:08:28 AM »
Vegas is not reading the video portion of my Fraps file with ingame sound recorded. Yes, it reads Frap files that are just vid. The ones with sound recorded as well, just read the audio portion. If anyone has answers, please post or drop me a line. Its kinda important  :(

I got it to read by compressing with 3vx in Vdub so that works  :D

FRAPS audio recording has always been a little dicey. Audio portions are often missing, and often the sound comes out very stilted. This could effect the audio section of the file, giving Vegas headaches when it's trying to normalize it.

Just a theory.

I tried recording something with sound with my fraps (2.3.3) and it went worked fine, it was a tiny bit off synch I think but I'm pretty sure thats just because of a bad FPS, I already sent fraps 2.3.3 to samurai for him to try out, but if anyone else has the same sort of problems I suggest trying to download fraps 2.3.3 (or hit me up on msn for it) because it works for me, it could work for you too.

(shit that last part sounds like an infomercial lol)
