I've finished GoW2 on Hardcore together with my friend now and it sure was worth the money just because of that. The game is very similar to the first in the series when it comes to most things, but the environment and how the monsters act is much better. It's a nice experience playing through the campaign.

I have tried a little online play too and it seems MUCH better than how it was in GoW1. The Horde gameplay is a nice feature too, I like it a lot. I could actually think about keep playing multiplayer in this game, something I never enjoyed in the first one (it sucked, tbh).

Everyone who liked GoW should try GoW2. If you didn't like GoW at all though, GoW2 probably isn't a game for you either.
I agree. I ran it through on Casual but I'm gonna wait for my friend to get it since we ran it trough together on all difficulties. It's a great game, and the graphics is just amazing! The campaign was great, just like the first one. I thought that the "Tickers" would be annoying as hell but they were actually fun to kill. The only thing that I really didn't like was the final boss, it was lame as fuck.

What's your favourite weapons? Sniper and shotgun for the win!

I'm tempted by Mirror's Edge now, seems like a really chilled out kinda game to play....and the time trial mode seems to be the biggest drawcard (damn my faith in Penny Arcade's opinion)

Kremlin tonight I watched a live feed broadcast where they played and beat Mirror's Edge. The game is frustrating and the disarming is clunky. The "grabbing onto a ledge" is unresponsive. When you have a gun, you can only shoot a couple rounds before it makes you drop it. The ending is cheesy and the last boss is a piece of cake.

I've basically named every con to this game, and I'll end this little rant with saying, it looks like a pretty good game.

Anyone thinking of getting Mirror's Edge, I strongly do NOT recommend this game. Even if you loved the demo. I played the demo and enjoyed it and wanted to play the full version so I bought it today, and I can tell you it's a piece of fucking shit. Do not waste your money on this. You can finish it in about 3 hours and after that you will never feel the need to ever start it up again just because even finishing it is annoying.

Going to trade it for Gears Of War 2 tomorrow.

For all those IV guys, it's moved onto the 3rd decembre.

Well I was looking forward to IV and Mirror's Edge too, but now I think my PC won't handle them. I was amazed that I can run Fallout 3 with static lighting.

I got a question: Does anyone of you who play Gears Of War 2 also have those fucking long waiting times for a Public Multiplayer match to start? It's been searching for players for ages now.
