Question about vista
« on: October 02, 2008, 11:43:19 AM »
I recently aquired Vista ultimate and im gonna be using it as my main OS, i got both xp and vista in one machine so i can dualboot whatever i like, but thats not the point.

Ive noticed Vista has its own Firewall and Anti virus system, so my question is, so i need to get one myself or can i rely on Vista's?

You shouldn't trust Microsoft on that, as it's being updated with the internal Vista's updates, not in real-time like all the "proper" ones. For a maximum security, get a proper one and turn those ones off.

I use both. CCleaner mainly to clean Firefox cookies and such. And tuneup to clean up my whole PC
