The reason why Google Crome is "fast" comes from more connections(so called pipe lining), which is possible to  do in FireFox aswell. I also do like FireFox because of all the addons, like adblock plus or noscript.

EDIT: LMFAO! guess what th installer does.. "downloading google chrome"
Just to let you know that's why the installer is small, you DL the installer which has non of the Chrome files in it and then it downloads them when you run the installer, alot of installers do this, nothing wierd at all.

I love google chrome, it's really great.

Seems faster than Firefox, it also has this awesome feature:

Quote
You've gone incognito. Pages that you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window. Any files that you download or bookmarks that you create will be preserved, however.
The same as Safari which is in my opinion is even better than Chrome.

oh cool, can you tell me where you got that quote from?

Baz you really shouldn't speak, theft.. you download an installer that downloads something else that installs it.
FlatFace, the installer probably operates like that because it can get the files from a different server (E.G one running the File Transfer Protocol).

As for those moaning about customisation....

Open Source

Also, has anybody even noticed the text area thing? You can resize them.
