WMV ASPECT RATIO

hey, my pc got reformatted, i lost all my presets of vegas 6.. =(


and i forgot what was the aspect ratio of the .wmv render..
the default is 1.000 right which what makes those black bars on the sides
you know, how dyou get rid of those two black bars on the sides of the video...?

anyway, Aspect Ratio = 1 is alright, try making the project settings and render settings the same values.

and  i used to adjust the aspect ratio instead,
see i had different way, ill try this one =D

I dont exactly know what is pixel aspect ratio but isn't every setting of this apart 1 makes your gta/fraps clips look distorted?

The pixel aspect ratio is important if you make films for tv (PAL or NTSC) because I know it only for europe and the Pal format but the pixel on a tv are not square they are rectangls so they are wider than high.
So if you make a video that looks the same on tv as on you pc monitor you have to use a different pixel aspect ratio, to strech the image. Which value you have to use deppends on the system used in your country Pal or NTSC <- you can easily google this out.

click RMB on the clip-> switches -> uncheck "Maintain aspect Ratio". have u ever tried this?
