Writing/Poetry, anyone?
« on: January 06, 2008, 10:31:19 AM »
So yeah, as the title states. Does anyone else happen to write? I don't care what it is, poetry, freestyle, story's or whatever. I know that Feron and I sometimes share writing pieces, and that DJobscure had some really great lyrics posted a while back. Anyone else?

If there seems to be some interest, I might post my stuff.

everything you feel
everything you know
and everything you see
feeds the hate you grow
trapped within you
shadowed by your soul
i cant be-- your-- everything---
(your left with nothing)
(your left with nothing)
(your left with nothing)
ill be your nothing-----
your fucking nothing----
and you cant see the way the darkness consumes me
the way you entomb me
creates a rift
that continues to drift
within my mind
within my soul
and i will be your nothing----
your fucking nothing----
and i all i know
and i all i cant show
its trapped inside
in this shadowed  soul
(its feeding in your mind)
(where the hatred is breeding)
nothing you see
nothing you know
wont be your anything
(your left with nothing)
(your left with nothing)
(your left with nothing)
ill be your nothing----
your fucking nothing----
i can feel it breath
on my spine
where the sin
starts to design
and i cant help, but to breath it in
(your left with nothing)
(your left with nothing)
your fucking nothing--------

Pretty sweet stuff, Infested.

Some thing I wrote when I was pissed one day. Not really amazing or anything, more like a mental advil.

The moon, creeping overhead
You can see it through the trees.
The cemetery path, winds ahead.
As we come to the final hurdle...
This river that runs red
Reminds me of the blood you've bled.
The bite marks, the pain and what life has said.

We're taking the final road
This path will define us
Everything to us, is what it holds.
This creeping grave moss
This haunting mold
The wind is picking up, my senses are growing cold.
Would the outcome have been any different, if I hadn't sold my soul?
As we grow closer, the cemetery gate informs us all there is to be told.
There ain't much to tell.
Except your pretty face...
is going to hell.
There is a roaring thunder, and the grave were you fell.
Now the silence, and the ringing cemetery bell.

As the fog keeps it's cover
You were the one who had to suffer
This is where Light fails, and Darkness prevails.
This is all thats left, of a haunted fair-tale,
A corpse growing old and frail.
You were were this coffins final nail.

I'll post something of a much different style later.

*bump*
Nice story's, Hay.

Something I wrote about this girl who I really am interested in and she doesn't know yet, but she is out of reach, and kind of broke my mental state by hooking up with her ex boyfriend, who is a huge douche bag.
INB4 EMO.

Like the fog,
You came, then you were gone.
This silence that surrounds me,
One day...
I'll break free.
But now... I can't run away.
Until then, I'm yelling a guilty plea
I'm cursed until forever, but this is what you don't believe.
You were clear, something I could see
But you're now a hopeless dream.
I lie on this floor
Blood, guts, butchered and mutilated remains.
I'm just fucking debris.
I wish I never met you
I wish I drowned at sea.
I pity the next fool who catches you,
Another victim, of another's killing spree.

Looking out of your window
of your room,
onto a wet rainy day.
Main street
under a sleek, grey
afternoon sky.
The light on your face
is soft and dim
through the lace curtain
and the streets are empty.
In the distance
there is a flash
and a rumble.
Clouds fill the sky
like giant wooden ships
on a blackened
evergreen sea,
capped with foam.
