Not realy, it may beat it's clock speeds, but so does the 8800 GT, it doesnt however beat it in pixel fill rate, bandwidth and a lot more important stuff.

8800GT is about 20% below a GTX.. when OCed its about 10% less. I'll try to find some benchies.
