Firefox works perfectly well, as does Yahoo messenger. But Internet Explorer and Messenger (both MSN and Windows) won't work. I've tried everything that 'help' asked but no luck whatsoever, it's being blamed on either proxy or firewall (firewall isn't the problem, it's allowed).

Any suggestions to what the hell is going on? I'm beginning to miss being bugged on msn

Don't mean to double bump but I'm getting pissed off at the computer playing silly buggers with me. Firefox works perfectly fine - as me posting here proves. But I can't get on msn, and for some odd reason Internet Explorer is also not working. Any ideas on what the fucking hell is going on would be appreciated!

Can you access your hotmail account?
What are the exact errors you're getting? Try to google them, or printscreen them and post here.

I can get on my hotmail account no bother to check emails through Firefox hehe, everything on Firefox is fine and dandy thankfully

MSN seems to be claiming it's to do with 'proxy' shite, whatever that is. As for Internet Explorer, assume it's connected because that fucks up same time as MSN - as it did before once before it fixed itself lol.

Gonna try a bunch of random shit to get this going again. Very annoying, though.

EDIT: It's now working - to do with LAN settings apparently. Very frustrating, though. Prepare to be bugged on msn  gonna close this.
