This time it isn't my VC, it's my laptop in general. The CD-ROM drive will not read anything no DVDs no CDs no Games, nothing. I can't stunt due to this, somebody help.

I think it might be able to be fixed without paying anything, or I hope.

How do I put this.... I understand the insides of the computer. The binary and such, I don't understand to much of the hardware at all. Do you mind saying that in more... understanding format?

...You know, I'd like to burn a CD, jam out in the car, or watch a DVD, or install a new game or something. VC isn't the jist of the problem, It wasn't working correctly in the first place, but I don't care.

Buy a new DVD drive for your laptop. Take it into a pc repair shop, i doubt if its not reading anything it'll be a free repair.

The lens might be scratched, or the laptop might have been bumped or dropped and the DVD drive might have come loose somewhere.

It looks like I'll have to resort to those options, 'cause nothing I do changes anything. The DVD drive shows up, but it doesn't read. The CD-ROM drive doesn't even show up, so does that means it is loose?
