I got a new monitor yesterday, im happy with it n all, but i have a prob. It was fine when i put it on yesterday and installed the driver, then when i woke up a coupla hours ago i noticed a yellow line going from the top to the bottom of the screen. any ideas?

its a  lg m1917s 19inch

I hope someone can help me, its annoying

I'm takin a shot in the dark here but this is what I would try..............mess with the settings for it, maybe do the degauze thing? You had to install drivers for a monitor? Ok well even knowing it's new, check for new drivers for it. You'd be surprised how fast they update shit like that. Last thing I can think of is unplug it, both at the monitor and the PC and plug em back in. Sometimes if the connections aren't seated just right it could cause probs. That's about all I can think of man, hope somethin works for ya.

Cheers for the response neo, i turned it back on again b4 and it seems to hae dissapeared now, wierd. I dont think its gone for good though, ill have to take it back i think and just replace it. I dont want that line coming back  

lol its back, 10 minutes after i make this post. gonna have to get it replaced

Test the screen settings, where the buttons are on the bottom of the screen. Perhaps the negative of your PC screen is yellow, and you need to cover it up with your screen?
