It's out!

First of all huge thanks to Nem for digging up my corpse and Krypton for putting it all together so smoothly.
Loved the angles, scripting, variety... well.. dunno where to start with the stunts but just wanna say huge props to everyone involved.
I can't believe how far this game and scene has come

Thanks to my good friends, I've had a blast stunting for a week and finished atleast one stunt lol.
But seriously, everybody that ever stunted in ATS was in this one. And it coulnd't be put together anymore beautifully kudo's to Sam Nitz Kan and Neo.
Sam, bigga, I wanna fly over to ATL and thank your mom for having sex with your dad, or the milkman or who-ever!!
This was awesome, this was ... disturbing at times
This was a brotherhood.
I will start a quest to mongolia and herd goats from now on (no Max, you're not invited!)

Some good vibes in this topic and I can't do anything but agree with what most had said.
You're an inspiration and a valuable asset to keeping the GTAS community together.

On a more personal level, we had some great talks and I regret that due to lack of time on (atleast) my behalf that it's nothing more than a good memory.
Also I'd like to thank you for bugging the hell out of me joining in on giving VC another chance after One Mind was released. I had some fun in that period staying up late for the vid and sharing ideas.

There you have it boys: Interests shift and nothing (except Neo) can live forever.
I know some will take this the wrong way or have problems 'accepting' the resignation of an 'old-skool' hero but fact is that people have lives to attend to and their involvement only increases more over time.

I'm thankful for pulling the stunting scene through in these troublesome times, and am even surprised it lasts this long.

I don't see GTAIV becoming a stunting playground as much as VC has been.
Games in general are becoming more and more 'realistic' (detailled) and leave less open for imagition.
It's like playing an old Zelda game for instance. You remember how awesome it was when you were playing it as a kid but for ppl of another generation the game would just look like crap.
I guess what I'm saying is that the older you get, the less you can totally lose yourself in a game.
Until you get dementia and start becoming like that kid again. (insert random Neo insult here)

I don't think that the same will happen to VC stunting that happened by the time SA got released and proved to alot of stunters to be somewhat of a disappointment.
When IV releases and could well be another disappointment (considering the un-stunterfriendly engine used IMO), there is not really any game to fall back on.
More and more vets/crews are going to quit and modding and annoying posers will soon get the better of the community. Ppl will grow up and start with other games or paying more attention to building a future.
That's my pretty pessimistic view of what will happen in 6 months - 2 years.
