I'm working on some stuff right now, I just gotta get used to this PC thing...I got a gamepad and all, there just seems to be some minor differences. Not to mention the fact that they seem to have placed trees in some of my favorite spots, and there's an annoying addition of a crane near Ammunation in Los Santos...I loved that spot... I guess I'll have to use PS2 footage for that one, unless there is a way to remove it...anyone?
Oh well, in any case, I'm going to go back to stunting, so I'll talk to you guys later. 3

The main reason I stopped for a bit was because the PC version was coming out, and at the time I had no plans of getting a windows based computer. Then when I did, I found out it wasn't as good a deal as I thought I was getting, so I couldn't run San Andreas very well. And to be honest, Packers were way too much of a hassle to deal with in the PS2 version, and since Packers are quite important for this kind of thing, I felt like there wasn't much I could add to the scene. Everyone has seen the same old bumps and spins that the PS2 had to offer, not to mention the PC version is much more user friendly when it comes to replays and camera angles. Blah blah blah...sorry, I keep talking...and talking.
One more very important thing: Kingjad, thank you for finding that. I've been panicking a bit because I thought I lost it for good. I owe you muchos. 4

Heh..thanks, I tried forever to get that one because the cars get in your way at that intersection a lot. And wow! I wasn't expecting this kind of reaction...thanks for the compliments. But really you guys have done much better stuff than I contributed. Nuclear - I'll set up an MSN account so I can get in touch with you. But I am tired and am finally going to try and make it to bed...been up for like 26 hours now. On another note, I looked at my topic title again and upon re-reading it, I noticed it could sound a little presumptuous. I wasn't assuming that I could come back in to XSA, I was merely stating that I will be making more videos in the coming future. So, technically, I am un-retiring, and just thought I would mention it to the people I had originally had a connection with. And yeah, what did happen to Gotups? I think he may have left shortly after I disappeared, I know I saw at least 2 videos with him afterwards... 5

Wasn't really sure where to post this, so I made a new topic. Sorry if that was wrong.
Hey guys, just wanted to drop in and see what's been going on. I know it's been a bit...who am I kidding, it's been like a year and a half I guess. I see there's a lot of new faces here...I actually wasn't sure if any of the crew was still around. I've recently gotten back to a point where I am starting to work on some new stunts, though I'm not near where most of you have gotten to as far as great stunting accomplishments, due mostly to the fact that my pc doesn't handle San Andreas very well, though it should. It does however run Vice City perfectly, so that's mostly what I've been working with, that and the LC mod for Vice City. I was wondering if you wanted any more stunters. I don't expect to come in and just be handed a place on the crew again though. You guys have done a lot of work to make it what it is now, and I'm sure you don't want someone like me to impose. So if you want, I could work on something to get to you and see if you like what you see. I can definatley work on Vice City stuff, and I'm still trying to figure out why SA won't run smoothly on my machine, and when I get that worked out, I can contribute to more San Andreas related stuff. Anyway, that's pretty much all I've got to say at the moment. 6

ok...here's a link to the whole vid...although it's in the video releases forum...
the Video is called Event Horizon. http://www.thegamersalliance.com/dynamic.p...ventHorizon.zip it's around the 1:00 mark in the vid. i'm not going to upload a single clip of it because i get too many problems when i upload. so if you want to download the whole video, then you'll see the stunt and some other nice ones too. if you've already seen it, then nevermind. 10

good job guys...sorry i couldn't make it this round, but next time....next time. i'll agree with music tastes buzzsaw, if you don't like the music, turn it down. watch the video and turn on your own music. however, having said that, it's kinda hard to judge synching and all that without the music. but i've been through this whole "music" argument before, and i'm not doing it again. i loved the vid guys, and screw the PC, it just gives us ps2 stunters more of a challenge.

SA Stunting Challenges / Packer 2 LV airport« on: June 01, 2005, 12:27:38 PM »
i didn't use a packer...i just popped off the median in the middle of the highway and landed on one of the hangars. i did that a few days ago, but i really didn't think it was all that special, since i just got from the middle of the highway. i'll give it a shot with a packer later maybe...

SA Un-Modded Video Releases / Event Horizon« on: May 15, 2005, 07:40:32 PM »
yeah...i work at a video store and i just saw the movie event horizon after i posted this. i was gonna rent it, but i wasn't sure if it'd be any good. i guess since i get the movies for free anyway, it couldn't hurt right.
thanks death cobra for the inputs. i plan on stunting more in cars for my next vid, but right now i'm working on another project and plus my ps2 quit on me, so it'll be a few weeks before i get back to stunting. which is very sad...very very sad. there will be less filler in the next one i guarantee. 15
