merci
I am a member of depthcore, a inactive member haha, but i remember how excited i was when Justin asked me to contribute.
A excellent release. truly beautiful work.
I know dude, still a big fan of your stuff. I know the feeling now, although I applied just last year, got in and was really avid to join, the motivation still keeps going strong.
You should think about submitting something, a few photos or artwork wouldn't hurt, I think Justin would LOVE to see you back. Things are still rolling and it's great to see some older members returning. We occasionally have someone coming back here and there already!
Congrats on the acceptance, they are a great bunch, very supportive. I do occasionally miss it but between work and training i find it hard to make time to go tak photos, i am enjoying more documenting things as they come along now then going out shooting.

Some nice captures i like the one with the gun, what lenses are you using ? I just use a Nikon D40 together with the stock lense ("Nikon D40 + 18-55/3,5-5,6"). And in difference to your pics, these have gone through much digital alterations.
i use that one too on my D40x, it doesn't really matter weather you digitally edit them or not, i think as long as you are happy with the end results, then its all worth it
you should have a look for the AF 50mm f/1.8, they go for about $100 and are so worth it, you can make photos wit ha super small DOF and its a incredibly sharp lens
Thanks for the suggestions. I was thinking of getting a new lense soon, so I'll definitely take a look at that one.
Do you have any good experiences from any (I don't know the English name for the following word, but you might understand the word we use in Sweden) "telezoom" lenses too?
as far as telezooms go, you get what you pay for, i bought a cheap $200 55-200mm f/4-5.6 and its kinda ok but then i upgraded to a 70-200mm f/2.8 and its makes a world of difference

Very professional. I can't believe there are no digital alterations, amazing. yes thats the beauty of films like Velvia 50 and Astia 100f, very high saturation and wild colors when exposed in odd ways, some of them are cross processed as well ... like the one of the legs ans the red reflection , shot on astia 100f and developed in c41 instead of e6 and you get a red scale image thanks

What ISO and aperture did you use for the first pic?
Very nice job btw. Since its film the ISO is constant through out the roll unless you push or pull it to another iso and develop it at that ISO but then the results are rather inconsistent.... Its Kodak Portra 400NC film which is a 400 ISO film , i used a aperture of f/3.5 (this is medium format so in 35mm or digital terms, its around f/1. , and around 1/60th

Recent photos with my 1950's Yashica 635 TLR medium format camera and a few digital shots [ i copied this from another forum where i post, so some may not make sense ] The camera is fully manual, that means no light meter, no exposure indicator, it means i have to set the shutter speed, aperture and iso for every shot... These are shot on ethier Portra 400NC or Fujipro 160c, both are colour neg films with decent push/pull capabilities And they aren't serious shots, more jsut a journal of where i go and what i doyou can catch here her : http://mandapants.deviantart.comshe used her holga, i used my OMpc
