I also have been having this problem - i thought it might be down to the SLi setup as it does it on NFS aswell , it's good to hear i'm not the only one - BTW mine does it witha fresh Vice install so deleting the Rock* file won't work - i think .

Resolved now but i would reccomend using Winamp as your playlist "player" more options and doesn't use as much memory

VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / My Re-Entry back into stunting.« on: November 09, 2006, 02:49:49 PM »Quote from: Torque Only thing I found weird was that you almost fell foward (looked like you probably did) while doing a stoppie with EXTREMELY low speed, at 1:29 Yeah , when i did that i thought it was going over and it was going to flip - but it sort of 12 ocklocked and dropped back down , i tried to get the whole clip in the vid but i had to split the end off to get the next one in . I've done loads of stoppies since and it's never happened again maybe it was with coming off the stairs because it was sort of up and over - i dunno , but i'll be trying it again Question , thanks for the comments - as ive said i just didn't have the time on my hands to spend ages on stunts - i'll try harder for the next vid but this vid i just wanted to get out to see what the reaction was - to see if i could still pull my weight in the community . 7

Feron , i get the basic idea of it and i don't use the acceleratot but everytime i get into a position to grind the bike sort of does a 360 and comes off the other side 10

I've had that before after long sessions on it - i think it's just emptying the cache .
You can add more physical memory by increasing your virtual mem settings ........ Right click my computer , performance settings , go to Advanced , open the settings tab and click advanced again . In here you'll see the virtual memory bar at the bottom - increase that ! what your doing is essentially using some of your HDD space as Ram bump it up by about a gig if you can . Of course i realise that may be difficult if you can't get the OS to load - but at least you know for next time 12

Format it - stick the boot disc in or your windows cd and follow the instructions - you will get a chance to do this after the bios check has run through

Computer Talk / NFS CARBON GFX PROBLEM!!!!!!« on: November 08, 2006, 12:23:59 PM »
Yeah as bove your card is waaaaaaaaaaaay too old , it's actually the shaders that won't through the MX
But the game is apnts anyway - can't touch Most Wanted in anyway . It also seems a tad slow / frames dropping on my system and i'm running an SLi Rig with 2 gb of Ram and a 4400 DC AMD . So i dare say your system will struggle 14

from that "vague" descrition it sounds more like a HDD fault - corrupt OS or sector etc...
