1. I'm not sure what you mean by 'concept of stunting', but if you mean a definition for stunting in general then it basically boils down to being improvisation. The whole thing is improvisation, and that's what makes it fun. We're thinking beyond the boundaries of the game and achieving (in the context of the game at least) the impossible. Taxi climbs can go way beyond the altitudinal limit, for example. What impresses me the most is, as a lot of people have already mentioned, a well thought out stunt. Big stunts have their appeal, but I'm more inclined to like something where the terrain has been used in a clever, effective way.

2. Barely any nowadays. In the early days I could spend hour after hour trying to land a whopper. Some of the simplest stuff often proves to be the most difficult. The three stunts I can recall spending the most time on were the taxi bridge landing in Alternative (that fucker really did push my buttons), the bridge arch landing in SA Smackdown (having the cam change for the unique jump didn't help this one), and the drop bump 2 girder in Trial By Fire (so many one wheel on, one wheel off landings - ugh!).

Back then I didn't think twice about the amount of time spent stunting. When I did my first accidental taxi climb at the bendy hotel in VC, I was up until 7am just doing that over and over again. *Sigh*...those were the days. I have a couple of fuck-prick stunts that I still haven't landed, despite a lot of time being spent on them, but maybe one day I'll go back with the right level of enthusiasm and dedication to get those fuckers off my 'must land' list.

are there any common rules in improvising stunts? i noticed in some threads that spawning vehicles into walls is not acceptable.

i wish you luck on landing the stunts on your 'must land' list.

As Cooper already mentioned put a smaller car (preferably a PCJ even there to get the most space possible). If you have dannye's main.scm  You jsut run infront of the car press shift and scroll your mousewheel while walking forwards. That will make the car disappear, afterwards just put the replacement vehicle (again preferably a PCJ) in the exact spot where the other car normally spawns.

thanks. i will try it again later.

move them and put a smaller car in the place they spawn

it is not working... the ambulance still respawns on top of the car.
