Cool video, all the stunts were slick and the editing had a really nice flow to it. I really liked the choice of music, I think it worked really well to set the tone of the video. Thanks for sharing

@m3rrix I'll definitely keep an eye out for the Animal Collective joint. I'm already massively into their tunes. I'm at Swinburne Hawthorn these days, started a new degree in Games Development. Found my passion and followed it really

It took too many hours of programming for me to be on drugs whilst making it. I do enjoy the visual style of alot of psychedelic art though so I probably copied them subconsciously 7
Gaming Discussion / Work Sleep Dream (my game)« on: August 09, 2010, 08:15:52 AM »![]() Hey all, I thought I might share with you a small game I made at university earlier this year. It was a capstone piece for my folio submission for introductory programming class. It isn't anything profound or even difficult but I am really happy with it. Those who know me will not be surprised with the audio/visual and thematic ideas I went with. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask ![]() It's a small file (6mb) :http://www.megaupload.com/?d=77SBR2LQ Enjoy! ![]() 8

Two reviews in one sitting
![]() Too tired to punch out a full view but I can say I like this video much better. The intro was simple and all I needed, synced and crisp. The style and editing were really punchy and it was enjoyable to watch throughout. Standout stunts for me were: - The odd little infernus stunt from MeetMyMeat in LV - Flow's precision in SF was just too sexy...worth a double take for sure ![]() - PtRvY, your rotation thing to minigrind was pretty schweet if a bit random (loved the second side angle shot) - KRS your infernus roof was cool...would've been even better with a cleaner landing - Bojet a bird couldn't land on that precision - great spot - Cool stoppie to grind from PtRvY Also - RATATAT OUTRO ![]() I've discovered why I haven't been on the forums alot. It is because as soon as I watch videos I start seeing stunt spots in the background, you guys may have contributed to a reinstall by me 9

Cool little solo man thanks for sharing, keep up the good work if you can find the motivation. You have some cool stunt ideas and the editing was really slick. I dug the colors you were using. Moving forward the only thing I would say is work towards some cleaner landings for some of the stunts, it just adds that extra polish and makes the stunts even cooler

DV Video Releases / Re: dv - IN YOUR FACE« on: August 09, 2010, 01:42:11 AM »
I will use your template as I am lazy (late post be damned). I incorporated my editing comments into each stunt since that is main purpose of editing: to show what is cool about the onscreen action
Full review of IN YOUR FACE, by Deep Voyagers made by kr3m-A-LIN Intro: Not much to the intro but still nice for what it is. I like short intros but that was maybe a bit too brief Stunts: FloW (0:18-0:33): Cool idea, but the editing angle obscure what was coolest about the stunt which is the air to the grind krs (0:33-0:40): Nice infernus air, nothing more to say really vmx (0:41-0:55): Nice cut with the music to bring this stunt in. Cool stunt with a lucky looking landing but again a more zoomed out view would've made it more impressive GDL (0:56-1:03): Stylish rotation, I really dig this stunt Sear (1:04-1:12): I'm not a big air kind of stunter so this is just another roof from a bump to me MeetMyMeat (1:12-1:27): Cool stunt, a nice idea with good editing (maybe 1 too many cuts though), again I feel like a slightly more zoomed out camera would give you a better view (personal taste?) Genyus (1:27-1:42): I like this stunt, it is a precision landing and has a great setup that shows you put alot of thought into it krs (1:43-1:50): Another good infernus air from you, I'm guessing you are a car stunter mostly ![]() PtRvY (1:51-2:05): It was cool stunt, but I'm baffled why the editing emphasized the grind when the bump is probably more interesting, especially since so far a bunch of stunts have had double takes without any real effect to it FloW (2:06-2:19): Nice looking stunt with an accidental bit of flair of the door closing ![]() Sear (2:20-2:29): Another high bump.... vmx (2:30-2:38): Cool precision landing, nice editing effects for the breakdown of the song FloW (2:39-2:51): The camming on this stunt when in the air made it really hard to see exactly what was happening Genyus (2:53-3:07): Big packerbump....maybe a hard runup made the stunt a better one Sear (3:08-3:15): Nice line to the stunt, still a bump but it showed some complexity beyond straight runup and launch vmx (3:16-3:23): pretty cool air Genyus (3:24-3:45): big air, probably really hard but nothing amazingly new to it Outro: Nice song in the outro, a bit long though....nice little bit of humor in the mods credit ![]() Overall: I liked this video guys, you have a good variety of stunting types and skills, hopefully more vehicles will be used in other videos you guys make. The editing was generally pretty good, outside of things I mentioned in the stunts I found that you used double takes a bit too often. They felt like they were filling time up on the song rather than being used as a special way to show off a cool or complex stunt. I'd rather see more stunts or a shorter song than feeling this way. A great effort guys, best of luck with other videos 11

The intro was well made, with the logo and the theme well set up
![]() The stunts were all very cool, nice use of the new map in places too ![]() Standout stunts for me were the Area 52 grind from Neo, the Kaneda backflip and hotel air in LS. Overall every stunt was very cool. The outro was classic stunting humour ![]() Thanks for a nice quality video for my return to the forums. 12

@m3rrix not many Aussie bands at the moment, mostly getting into some 70s prog and pyschaedelic rock of late.
