You can definately increase acceleration, can't remember / havn't tested top speed yet.
Top speed can't be increased. Every car is affected in the same way by each available modification, so all the facts remain the same regardless of modifications. I've landed five amazing stunts so far, one took me hours with this shitty quick save system 
a friend told me that in online races, if you are in the last position, you get a speed bonus! anyone as tried this?

as everyone said opener and 2:00 were epic. some car stunt were bad. but you definitly improved a lot from your first video

Another confirmation. Unlike IV, you can bump, hit a straight wall and get a wall bump up for huge height, just like San Andreas. I've landed about 10 stunts in between missions so far, played for around 3 and a half hours  . Wont put much time into stunting until I've finished all the missions, got my driving skill up and everything else. Right now, the wheelies are very hard to pull except for at slow speeds, so it's not worth focusing on stunting right off the bat.

Who was that Murphy guy again who did ridiculous stuff shortly after release? PC though so I won't bet on him. First video of GTAS is probably Math. Unless he's busy with something I guess he will do a video.
i dont think it will be me... i will complete the campaign first and then play a shit load of multiplayer! plus im now at university so i cant even play 5 hours a week. but who knows.... deathcobra's gonna be the first like with IV
