I just changed the battery and this morning, there were absolutely no booting probs, everything went just fine.
There is just one strange thing. Like Neo said normally the bios switches back to default settings if the battery is too low. But not this time even after I change the battery there are still the bios settings I created.

I got an older PC that always has starting problems when it was longer times off (overnight especially).
The PC: AMD Sempron 3000+, Mainboard ASrock K7VT4A+, 1 GB Ram, Nvidia Geforce 6600GT 128 mb(gigabyte), Win XP.
The thing that happens is the following. The first time I start it, you only see what bios it is, you don’t even see the rams. The Second time I start it you can see the xp loading screen and then a black screen and nothing happens. The third time it boots up to the desktop, but there is still a chance that the PC will freeze (not always). When I started it the 4th. time its boots normal and there never freezes anymore (after the 4th. time).
When shut the PC down for the rest of the day it boots absolutely normal and no freezing at all. But the next day the same procedure again happens.
Is there anything I could do, or is this just the beginning of the end of the PC?

Is there a way to produce 3gp (cell phone format) Videos with vegas. Like a plug-in or something. Or is there a certain codec for 3gp files. I know there are several tools specially for making 3gp. But I don't want to install too many different video tools, because there always will be problems with all the codecs those tools try to install. After my last format c: action a few weeks ago, I am pretty careful about what codecs I install and what video progs.
Anyone knows something about vegas and 3gp?

Why do you want to install the mediamanager, nobody needs it. Even if you get it installed, their will be come more problems when you moving files, edit or delete them. I wouldn't install it.

The pixel aspect ratio is important if you make films for tv (PAL or NTSC) because I know it only for europe and the Pal format but the pixel on a tv are not square they are rectangls so they are wider than high. So if you make a video that looks the same on tv as on you pc monitor you have to use a different pixel aspect ratio, to strech the image. Which value you have to use deppends on the system used in your country Pal or NTSC <- you can easily google this out.

Basically I'd answered finallight on the first post, I think he wants to know how you can get back the old interface, and this you cant just do by moving boxes.

I read your post. Like I said you can move boxes, but only from left to the right. And you cant move the timeline. So you cant just by moving set vegas 8 to the vegas 7 with timeline at the top and preview window at the bottom. OK?

You can move boxes but you cant move the timeline to the top, so you have to uncheck it like I have shown it. I don't get errors, but I am using it with XP dont no but if you use it with Vista, than its a vista problem. If not Did you have installed Vegas 7 or an earlier version, and please don`t insatll the media manager, because it is really crap. You definitley will get errors by using the media manager.
I think there a no new effects, but you got a multicamera tool, and several new output possibilitys. But If you like Vegas 7 or 6 you don't have to get Vegas 8.

I like Vegas 8, for the first time at all it doesn't fail, to make quality QT files. And for those ones who would like to have the outputwindow at the bottom again, just go to Options->Preferences->Display->uncheck "...timeline at bottom..." and thats it, the old vegas view.
Give it a try its a good one. Cheers.

Thanks greendead for uploading it to youtube.
I really like the camera movment its fast and creative. And the story itself is so unique. The 1 st Reveal is no much better edited and the overall impression works now much better because of the better flow.
For me its just a great pice of work and also pretty inspiring.
Thank you.
