i'll write few words on it myself
[spoiler_block]
for the intro im not gonna lie, it was done in a rush as you all probably can tell. really wanted to use some of these countryside areas with all that flora thats in there, though its a 2004 game - you can't expect much out of it
the vfx on that one are partially inspired by gas' visualisations at his live shows (go see him if you have a chance - definitely recommend it
). wanted to make the intro longer, by changing the big text in the middle with participants' nicknames but that'd be too long, and since yall skip it anyway then why bother
the opener is a pretty cool jump by artifex, obviously lacking in the execution department, but appreciate it as he sent me it on a 2 days notice. great height in there and great eye to spot that one, its one of these that i never have ever tried to land, yet he came up with that to the top of the bilboard, good one
second one is that curb2walltap2small landing by tracker - obviously its reminding of przemoo's stunt nearby, though this one seems to be less in control, faster and has way cooler approach to it
next one is mine - wanted to land that for years, finally managed to
really love the spot, i already had tried several other spots to land one of these, but i think i like this one the best, it has that great somewhat tricky runup, and its another one of mine that comes from the side of pyramid, exmilitary finisher being the other one
then there comes that shotgun grab, boy what a pain in the ass that was
you have basically zero time to react, and i think its the first one of these that doesn't end in a random whack-ass precision. recorded than on baseline's swastika nrg, obviously a follow-up to his stunt from LV hotel rooftops
kruth has been one of my favorite stunters lately, and its great to have him in the video twice. that infernus airport dropbump2bilboard is a dope one, tricky runup and covers a lot of space before the landing
next one is my bmx stunt - another pain in the ass spot, but boy you gotta love it. i think there weren't many ever like that one, maybe except for that 2009 "freest" mania that was going on for a little bit (thank god it vanished as quickly as it came to life). s/o my dude kiper
tracker's mtb tecbump - a great one, always wanted to see some kind of landing on that crane off that bridge, also good job on landing the higher part and driving up to the top so flawlessly
jizzy side p2b - sorry kusiu, its impossible to do without a packer in there
lovely spot, though it's not as good as the idea of it, that arch isn't suited to get a wallride from so i kinda had to hope that the backbump gives me enough distance so i don't hit that red part too early - but i really like the fact its finally landed
then comes that fucking freeway grind tracker did - jesus fucking christ thats top shelf of idiot spots, you could have landed 5 different ones instead of trying to stay on that one - but you did, like an absolute madman. congratz on the longest ledge grind in san andreas
avi's p2b to lv airport tower top - damn, before i thought its borderline-possible to land the lower part and then you just hit me up with that one
great fucking stunt dude, plus you didnt use any of that pop-wheel shit, mad props
vanilla's combo - at first when i got the replay i thought its an oldie but then the replay kept going and he did that thing o__O great fucking job on that one, even with that lucky random-ass precision that adds extra value to it
tracker's nrg bump - sweet runup in there, had to include it in the video, even sweeter spin after the bump and good landing too
my monster stuck stunt - big thanks to reynolds for that spot, he always seem to have some weird stuck method laying around - and since its gta sa monster it was buggy as hell at times with random backbumps and stuff like that. plus i had limited runup for that, after you go farther than the inbetween of those 2 blocks on the slope the monster falls under ground - and if you want to avoid the roadbumps i suggest going on the right side of the road
after that we have one neighboring that monster stuck one - good fucking job on that stunt kruth, absolutely blew my mind when i saw the replay for the first time, amazing thinking to get on that precision without any second vehicle help, and great execution too with that slight wallkick
my infernus stunt - a simple one, covers a lot of ground (its around 330/106) and yeah im aware of vmx's stunt going from parallel road - but since it was him you never know
i think this one is the weakest of what i've landed for that video
then you got that finisher, highest natbump landing ever in gta san andreas
finally released that one, had that waiting since april 2017, it wasn't obviously easy to land that - well first its 196ft to land that, its invisible and has very slippery texture
and yeah, its obviously the barricade you have before passing some missions in the story mode, and i remember clearly that the method of using these barricades was introduced in 2008/2009 on gtas as a method (dont remember who that was, but it wasn't grabkill that time
) so i was kinda shocked nobody had landed or possibly even tried that for so many years. i did get it in about a week of not trying very hard, have slipped/overshot it many times, i even put one slip in the outro (though you can't really see it clearly)
for the outro, artifex's stunt is just peak outro stunting, also since it was named as PPHOENIX_treebump2beachhoussie.rep that was a real shocker when i found out he used zr350 instead. like that rooftop combo from mati, next one got stolen from me with some 0/10 execution so i put it in the outro instead of main part, love that next one with glitched texture grind
editingwise its pretty simple and family friendly, some obvious remarks from the happy idiot video, very slight color grading, tried to keep it as clean as possible, i think i did great job on that, though i definitely could improve since i downplayed some stunts (shotgun grab, freeway grind, kruth's nrg stunt) but i guess a mans gotta do what he gotta do to release that before 2040
hope yall enjoyed the outcome, call it what you want - a solo, collab, sollab or whatever, i'm glad to have it delivered despite all what's happened
yea thats a block of text you dont have to read, i was just writing whatever trying to leave a few words on that video
