Title: Need help with this issue
Post by: MeetMyMeat on September 15, 2016, 12:13:29 PM
The tool known as Frame Limit Adjuster. It speeds or slows down my .reps depending on the frames I locked it in, even when I disable it. I didn't have this problem years ago, but now I do. If any of you know any other way to change your static fps or the fix for this, help me!

Firstly i want to know why you are using FLA?

I've always used it. Sometimes when I need more rotation but FL ON is not an option cause I need faster rads. (just an example) Sometime I go even bellow 25...

And I've also discovered certain bumps that actually give me better results with less fps and they're practically imposs with more.

Does that answer your question? Who the forklift are you anyway  :|

don't use it as it changes the fps rate the replays are saved with, use something else (for example record with framelock on with fraps) and dont mod

I agree with art, but frapsing eat a lot of memory - fps drops.

Yeah, some bumps are more easier with less fps, but anyway the more fps you have the better bump you will do.
For example SF high bump to the ship or naval base - i don't remember that someone landed it with FL-ON. (even if it's old or possible, i mean that with FL-OFF it bumps better)

Best way is don't use any of these shit like FLA, maximum that you can use is FPS Increaser + FL-ON = 30 FPS - smoother than 25 FPS, but all features like spins are working the same. :ajaja:

P.S. What the stupid question like "who is me?" I'm just stunter... Who found FBM! :D :a-cheer:

Frame limiting modifications have the potential to not only change the maximum framerate of San Andreas, but also change the maximum framerate of the replay system. That's why the speed of your replays has changed without frame limiting modifications enabled, and that's why you shouldn't use modifications to do this. The best way to limit your FPS is by using 'RivaTuner Statistics Server', because it limits your frame rate without messing with the game, and unlike some frame limiters, it works no matter what GPU you're using. Follow this tutorial to limit your FPS in any game, just make sure you have Vsync off (FL-OFF) in San Andreas or it won't work correctly.

This should work perfectly without messing up your replays, but I haven't tested it myself to confirm. Make sure you download the latest version of 'RivaTuner Statistics Server', and obviously, don't set the frame limiter above San Andreas' maximum framerate. The maximum framerate of San Andreas is usually ~142fps for most people, despite the default limit being ~71fps without 3rd party disturbance (more information about that here (http://www.gtastunting.net/index.php?topic=68959.msg1350651#msg1350651)).
