DETRITUS; waste or debris of any kind.

I wanted to edit a short video just to get some editing practice before editing the upcoming USS vid and I expected to get maybe 20 reps at a push but no lie I ended up with nearly 90 reps which was way more than I anticipated. Sorry to those who sent a high amount of reps (FIGHTER, Nem, Frank etc) that didn't get used since it's a short song and I didn't want a select few people to dominate the video however don't be dismayed as I'll be sending all the unused stuff to Max so he can use it in a project he's working on.

Stunt wise I'd say the stunts are pretty high caliber especially for a leftover video but I'm more looking for editing critique; I definitely overdid it with the motion blur and some of the angles are shoddy but any constructive criticism on the editing, angles, quality or just advice in general etc is welcomed. Speaking of quality I don't have a bigass monitor so I just recorded at 1680x1050, rendered at 1920x1080 and used Daffy's x264 tutorial to encode which I hope is adequate.

There were a couple of bugs with the editing, the effect on Fighters bump spin grind at LS skatepark should have been synced with the bump but I think either copying keyframes to reuse the effect or using my PC while rendering broke it (it should have also been there for a few others), the ender had two angles not just a straight fade along with some other export bugs so thanks Sony; I'd rerender it but I spent one hour rendering then another hour and a half encoding so fuck that. Also, the audio levels arent fucked/clipping, it's simply a lofi song named Bloodstains from the band Grave Babies so maybe drop your volume down. Overall I'm pretty happy with the outcome and a big thanks to everyone who sent stunts (whether they got used or not) and a thanks to anyone who watches and gives some feedback, cheers!

When I edit I always play the music 2-3 times and imagine the stunt vid (obviously with all stunts recorded at this point)

Camera could be a little smoother though. Some clips had weird timings, as in start of the stunt was cut, then a really long view of post landing, ie the last taxi stunt.

Overall a good collab, I thought this was gonna be just some leftover thing, but it felt far above my expectations, there were a lot of sick stunts, FIGHTER's stunts were outstanding obviously, I liked Ltab's grind tho, but the rest was noice too. Editing was enjoyable, nothing to complain about from my side.

I'll be sending all the unused stuff to Max since he wants to edit a video to a Burzum song, apologies for not using more of your stunts (same to Nem) but don't fret I'm sure Max will make something awesome out of them :P Thanks for the comment on the bike too since I made that.

Thanks alot dude, some of the recording was a little messy hence the long parts of clips, will definitely try to fix that next time. Will probably have to drop my mouse sensitivity too, was just having some trouble with Fraps (sometimes it'd randomly just start dropping frames) so recording was giving me a headache.

Thanks for the comments and feedback, will be sure to take it on board for the next project I edit. I think ODR is one of those Chinese stunters who just appears out of nowhere with kickass stunts then disappears for another three months.

The edit was really enjoyable and went great with the song!
Maybe try to decrease the shakiness of your cam and try to avoid touching walls, which will make the cam move towards the player
that's one factor I always watch out for
but anyways great job on that! would have loved to see a longer video

Thanks for the editing critiques too, definitely gonna have to drop my mouse sensitivity next time. Hows the quality of the vid? As said before I don't have a high resolution monitor so it's just 1680x1050 upscaled to 1920x1080 and encoded with Daffy's x264 tutorial.

I'd like to say something on the editing next.
I paid a full attention on your camera moving with your mouse controlling and you try to record the replays neatly. I mean the fluency of the mouse moving process. Of course in this process you can pull closer or further for the moving vehicle smoothly and slowly, just don't pull rapidly or it will be seen bit weird imo. (Especially the mouse moving shouldn't be fast) And you can move the perspective orientation continuously to create a nice sense of sight. For this respect DEV always does fantastic to me, because his operations were really enjoyable in a way. :P
At last, just remember to prevent the object collision from happening while recording. That'll be not that pleased to enjoy the video. :D You might get some experiences from watching more videos with a nice edit into your editing later!

Btw SS's pheonix(?)grind and FIGHTER's stuffs were outstanding! ;D
