is that a logitech e3500? i had that and if the mic volume was above 90% it refused to pick up audio

go into recording devices > right click mic and choose properties > levels and set it to 90% or below I think I kept mine at 85%.

failing that i'd say atleast try and grab proper drivers from logitech for it since i noticed it said just USB microphone device and not a product name.

Dude the below 90% actually worked. That doesn't make any sense but I'll roll with it haha, thankyou so much

It was a weird fuckin glitch I ended up giving it to my cousin so she can Skype home when she goes to Australia

fucker already took 3 months out last year to do it and now shes doing it again for a YEAR.
