guess you can call this backup. ive landed a couple of stunts for this, but this is best one of them. though not what i had in mind - couldn't land my desired ones. meh

Post by: PtRvY on August 24, 2014, 12:01:45 PM: I thought both stunts were good. NumeRo did a cleanly executed grind and it was a nice idea to go for a backwheelie there. However, the fact remains that Kallesetae has already taken away the novelty of this spot, and the fact that many people have landed it in various ways over the years doesn't help the situation either. This might be a very good way of landing it, but for me it doesn't show a lot of creativity. Still, good job, you got good skill on handling tech stunts, which I respect. JL on the other hand did something I didn't expect, and it caught me off guard. I think people underestimate how cool grabs can look in a proper context, and this is exactly one of them. JL's grabs (at least the ones I seen thus far) have always shown vision and they never seemed out of place. While this one might not be up with the finisher of Kjempeflott, it's almost equally as refreshing. And the combo was sublimely executed all in all.

Hands down - vote goes to JL on this one.

Post by: Simon on August 24, 2014, 12:08:16 PM: This is a tough one for me, because NumeRo's spot has had so many variations over the years that, so when I started watching the clip I already knew what it was going to be, but nontheless it was really smoothly executed. JL on the other hand had a smart idea, but the execution of his wheelie was rather lacking. But in the end I think the grab caught me off guard which made me like the stunt more. So my vote goes to JL. Both solid entries though :ajaja:

Post by: tomiboy on August 24, 2014, 01:11:24 PM: we have two really great stunts here. numero completed the challenge pretty damn well, but the spot is quite overwhored and has been done with several different executions.

jl didn't complete the challenge as clean as numero did, but the spin+grab were really outstanding, because it was executed perfectly and personally, i've expected some kind of grind, too, but never a grab.

even though numero completed the chalenge better, i gotta give my vote to JL because his stunt was much more stylish and had an epic wow-monent in it imo. but both did a great job, so props men!
