I don't really know much about computers, but recently bought a laptop ASUS X552CL I3,
these specs.
Intel® Core™ i3 3217U Processor
Windows 8
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 710M
500GB HDD 5400

I guess these are the most importent specs You need to know.
Really just wondering what kind of games can it handle, so far i have SA, CS 1,6
I'm afraid to try some decent games, do not want to be disappointed nomsayin.
All suggestions would be greatly apreciated
Thank You in advance!

Go to systemrequirementslab.com and find out yourself :cc_detective:

I know that website pipele, but it sucks.
It said that I won't run SA, well now look who's playin it without any probs.
I need some expertise man, why You do this to me? >:C

the CPU is pretty average
the GPU is pretty average too and it is a bit than the intel HD 4000 luckily your card includes directx 11 technology which make your computer runs the latest game a bit smoothly if you lower of course the graphical settings!
you have an enough amount of ram!
the whole system is average! you can have all the games even the newest ones running smoothly on your system by putting all the settings between very low-medium with a resolution of 1024x768-1280x720 if you wanna really enjoy some smoothness!
:P

Ohh thanks man, You think I could run GTA IV?
Cause the above mentioned website said I couldn't.
-
yeah you can run it but as lowest as possible for a good fps or you can just keep the textures in normal and turn the shadows off! :P
-
Thanks bud! Helped me bigtime!
What do You think about skyrim?
-
Kinda offtopic, but is that just me or I really haven't seen a single post by Basium that wasn't edited?
-
nem: when i come up with some ideas, i edit the post, i can't suffice myself with a single idea! :euro:
You can run Skyrim at the medium settings, you can always optimize your game even in high settings on average pc specs by turning shadows off or reduce them at low and turn the v-sync off and set the textures to billinear or trillinear i think there is an option for that!

Everything is gonna be okay :|

Ye, just got GTA IV, runs smooth.
Anyway, I don't really know anything about games, any suggestions?
I don't really like shooters like cod n shit.
-
you haven't pc gamed if you haven't played runescape
-
I know what you're talkin about funny guy.
I don't really like those kind of games either like lol, dota, wow :(
-
Minecraft

GRID 2 if you like racing or better wait for Project CARS next year, it is an amazing simulation game just like Forza and Gran Turismo!
-
Dead Space & Dead Space 2. They're heavily scary in a lot of parts and fucking hard if you take the hardest mode, I'm still playing it (First one) and still in the Chapter 7 :)
Driver: Parallel Lines. Such a awesome game and the best part is that's pretty old-schoolish game. I'm playing it yet and I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome of the game, excellent option if you're fan of the GTAS sequels :P
Tomb Raider: Legend, Anniversary, Underworld & 2013. Not pretty sure if you can run the 2013 version since it has been updated with the latest HD vision, but you can still give it a try.
- Legend: Is a awesome game, I haven't stopped playing it for 5 years and I'm done of ending it up, you can beat it in 1 day if you choose the medium mode, and 1 day and some hours with the hardest, excellent for people who likes adventure shit :P
- Anniversary: It's driving me nuts, can't pass that shit yet I'm still stucked in a level but w/e, give it a try, won't dissapoint you!
- Underworld & 2013: No idea, haven't played them since my PC can't run these, but they're HD with some nice ass smoothly views and beauty nature with incredible optimized graphics in the world as well.
Lost Planet: I played it for a pretty short time but it had a perfect playing feel, killing these robots is just awesome, give it a try if you like to shoot everything that's in your road :cc_detective:
Spiderman: Friend or Foe. Can't get enough playing this, nice for adventurers and for multiplayer gaming (2 max). Nice graphics and effects and a plain game to give a try, nice as well to have a nice time with it.
Simpsons: Hit and Run. Fucking lol'd at this game, just download or buy it and then play, no need for explain what's going on there :D
As a bonus, here's a nice song because of yes
Madeon - Finale (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0h2u87JwyA#ws)
That's all I can recommend you since these are the ones that has get me playing for hours and days, I hope you do well :euro:
