This EP is dedicated to one of my major sources of inspiration for composing music, and that’s the hip-hop producer, Nujabes. Sadly, he passed away in a car accident on February 26th, 2010, which was a huge loss for the hip-hop community, but the music he left behind stilll continues to inspire thousands, and this release is the prime result of that.

Regarding my approach towards this EP, I decided to implement Nujabes’ jazzy/chill style into the songs, with a little bit of me fused into them. I hope you enjoy this!

^EP stands for Extended Play.
Wikipedia:
"An extended play (EP) is a musical recording that contains more music than a single, but is too short to qualify as a full studio album or LP (Long Play)."
Will check it out!

Tight stuff as usual Balu.
The Cover is the best part about this EP though, it looks so perfect
You have talent and I'm glad that you make use of it.

Keep it up, cunt.

Holy fuck, The Influence is chill as fuck, I loved it.

Bliss was very nice, although I didn't really like the interlude at ~1:35. Other than that, the beat was really pleasant to listen to.

Listening to The Void looks like I'm listening to a movie soundtrack. Not really sure wheter I like it or not, put it definitely fits as OST

Drifting is like porn music

Totally jerkin' off to The Influence and Drifting. I like these a bit more than your last EP.

What programs are you using to make your songs? Are you planning to have some vocals in a near future? How did you get your inspiration from to make melodies and beats?
I'm also into producing so it's intersting to know as much as I can from your producing steps.

Thanks, this EP is mixed and mastered way better than my first one, so this one is easier on the ears. :P I'm using Fruity Loops and various VSTs with it, and yeah, I do plan to include vocals in my next project. About the inspiration part, do you mean that in general or for this EP? For this one I was inspired by Nujabes' songs, but in general, there are these phases of inspiration for me. Right after I released this, I heard the album by EL-P and Killer Mike called "Run The Jewels (http://foolsgoldrecs.com/runthejewels/)", and now I'm heavily inspired to create a raw gritty electronic hip-hop EP(with vocals) lol. :P

Fuck yeah FL all the way!
I also get inspired in other people's work, a lot but still trying to keep it not too copy and I'm also trying to find my own style. Sometimes if I need inspiration I go play some basketball if I have nothing else to do :P
One more thing, do you already have in mind who's going to do the vocals on your next song? Are you going to do them by yourself? 'Cause I'm very intersted on using vocals on mine some day, and if I like the way they've been made I would like to have that person helping me on my stuff too :euro: ya feel me?

I'm trying to develop my own style as well, but I think Drifting is the song with the most "me" in it, it doesn't have far too many similarities to Nujabes' beats.

Yeah, I do, me. :P Unfortunately I can't afford a studio mic, nor do I have a good place to set it up in my house, so I'm gonna have to do it in a studio. I've also got a couple friends who are pretty good rappers, and I recently found out that the sister of a close friend of mine can sing pretty damn well, and she's getting a studio mic soon. Considering the possibilities and opportunities, I'm excited for the next project. :P

You got a Soundcloud man? Would love to check out your stuff. :euro:

Damn you're lucky, I guess I'll have to make my own way using acappelas from other artists.
About my soundcloud I do have one, but I haven't released anything yet
I have everything on my computer because everyday I find a little thing to change, and I'll release a demo/preview of my first tune pretty soon I think, it's just I want to keep it as good as possible. But don't expect anything like "holy shit" :P I also produce EDM, the song I'm wanting to release it's for now progressive house, kinda undefined because the main drop isn't 100% done yet. For how long have you been producing btw?

I'll give it to you anyways :P https://soundcloud.com/lautaro-tobias also I didn't find my fitting pseudonym but I have thought a lot of names. How did you find yours?

Yeah, pretty lucky to have met him in a SAMP server 7 years ago, now a close friend and a dope rapper at that.

I'm not exactly sure how long, but my first beat dates back to 2009. I Followed your Soundcloud page btw, will be waiting for that release. :P

It actually took me a whole month of brainstorming to think of this name, before that I had a history of retarded names lol. Bloo Acid > Blud Presha > KaYeS. Yeah, don't ask LOL. My advice is, before making the decision on a choice, just think it through on a long-term basis, will it stay relevant as time passes? If yes, you're good to go. :P

I have already thought about it, been trying to finde a good one since a year ago maybe. Spent a lot of time on the internet trying to know how big artists made up their names. I want mine to have a personal meaning, something more than just a good looking name. :P I'm also following your account :)

e/ Also in my opinion the name must sound good, have good vowels and it shouldn't be hard to pronounce in english. There are various reasons :P
