in case you haven't heard of it, Higurashi is getting a new season or OVA, dunno about that yet. Higurashi is definitely one of my favourite animes, the plot was just a masterpiece, all the characters were unique and awesome. the only thing I didn't like in Higurashi was Rei, that OVA was pretty useless if you ask me. yeah, of course Kira was useless too, but since I like fanservice and ecchi, I loved it. may it be another Kira or Kai, I will surely love it.

Huh, Hope it isn't another Kira or Kai. But then again I don't see how a new season with serious stuff is going to be interesting now there is no mystery. I guess I'd watch it for the gore though. Thanks for sharing :)

Yeah, this was on their twitter I think. Said it's going to get a restart or a relaunch or whatever. I'll watch it.

Kai was my favourite actually. mostly because we got to know what's behind this whole mystery. Rei sucked imo. Kira was fun to watch. so was the normal one with the interesting plot and the investigating. and the gore scenes. god these ruled.
