So i just built my new PC yesterday, and when i tried to start up san andreas, I couldn't move the mouse, Now this happened to me before, And i used to click ESC multiple times and it would work, But now i am rapping that button and nothing is happening, i tried reinstalling, tried connecting a controller then removing it, and even started new game and loaded some other peoples save games, created new GTASA users file, nothing seems to work here, help please

Same thing happened to me a while back when I could run SA, until that day...

I remember having the same issue in VC, but I forgot what I did

Wish someone would pin that topic already, since people apparently still have problems with the mouse.

If it keeps happening like that, try 3 or 4 processors.

That happens to me all the time. What I do is uncheck every CPU except 0
Sometimes I have to press ESC 1 or 2 times but it's ok :)

Are your controls in-game set to gamepad, and not keyboard and mouse? :hmm:
-
its okay guys it works now :euro:
-
what is yours new PC specification ?
-
The affinity thing works but you will lose performance in game, it's better to set your theme to Windows Classic or run in W98 compatibility mode.

Another solution is buying gamepad. When I have gamepad connected, the mouse bug never happens. :cc_detective:

That's probably just for you. I still had to use it a few times. And buying a gamepad just because of one bug is ridiculous.
