You use ilustrator and photoshop, or something else? ;p
-
daamn i want to do that abstract stuff. i think he uses Wacoom Bamboo maybe ?
-
I seriously have NO clue about how he does this.. I mean, having the programs and set-up is one thing but making this is just mindblowing :lol: Great pieces as always.

It's alright guys, I use Photoshop, Illustrator and Cinema 4D (3d work) mainly, 95% of all times I use my own stuff. I have a tablet too (which isn't too much participating in 3D works like that at all but I do my portraits with it which is a huge advantage). But it's an Intuos 4 A4 size (which is enormous but any size of tablet goes just fine, even the bamboo) for things like the first there have been drawings supplied by the original artist which I used to create something new, which was the task for RYJ: http://runyourjewels.com/round/4/none/ (http://runyourjewels.com/round/4/none/) if you could drop a vote for me, I'd be highly grateful of course only if you liked it ;)
If you still got any questions, feel free to ask. I'll gladly share the small knowledge I have :)

Well, one more question. How do you start a work like this? Like, what is the first layer of your work apart from the background.
-
Damn, so awesome works in there O:
Voted for you :P
-
Thanks man!
@Rainbow
Pretty tough, the start varies but usually it's from a blank canvas, first layer would be a 3d render I've created in Cinema 4D or a shape where I start working from. I just do it, I don't plan anything out.
