I can't really say that these are actual settings for a video. It's way too strong and not really good looking the way you showed, but yeah, it's k

A tutorial is a tutorial. What video with explanation would you define as something that is not a tutorial?

And yes, I forgot to telling you, that you actually dont need After Effects for RSMB.
There is a Vegas Version aswell, with a lot more setting options ;)

I dont know what youre talking about. Vegas 11 is perfect. GPU HORSE POWER GIVES ME SPPEEDDD!!!! ;D
And actually is this version made for 10 also... And i think it will work on 9 aswell. OFX is a standart ;)
-
You've obviously never worked with anything lower than Vegas 9.

I worked with 9 first, after that with 10 and since 11 the rendering takes 1/2 of the time as vegas 9.
I especially use vegas 11 to get all plugin packages/OFX Effects and other up to date... Some of those plugins wont work with a version lower as 9 ;)
-
You should've tried 7 and 8 before. 8 All the way

What XTO said couldn't have been more true. I only use the newer versions because the older versions started crashing and I couldn't fix it.
-
Pretty much Vegas 8 Pro is the perfect choice like XTO said.
-
Yeah, the older versions are much more comfortable & handy to use, even the plugins are better, I fucking hate 64x MB suite, way too unwieldy to work with. Only thing that 10/11 have are some new plug-ins that look good, other than that it's smooth sailing downhill after 8.

If he want edit in AAE it's his choice. In my opinion it's good to experimental.
-
They were arguing about which version of vegas is the best, not whether to use Vegas or AAE.
Pay a little more attention, friend.
-
Ok im just misunderstand

Also you can't really "edit" in AAE because its a compositing software, I mean it's possible but it'd be plain stupid and time-wasting since even the layout is VERY restricted to a compositing-friendly style and not even slightly editing-friendly at all. Also barely any sound design tools..
Long story made short, you edit video/audio in an non-linear editing software like Vegas, Avid, Final Cut Pro, Premiere and so on, you make complex effects and visuals in a compositing software like After Effects or HitFilm. You combine both kinds of software for a the best result, maybe add in a tracking software and a 3D modelling software and its the perfect setup for making videos/films.
-
Nothing wrong with the CC or tutorial.. but next time put a video of the end result after the tuturial is finished :P
