I have sort of a major problem with youtube playback & it's bugging the hell out of me. Basically, when I'm in fullscreen, whenever I move the cursor, which makes the video progress bar appear & disappear when not moving, the framerate drops to like 1-2 fps (until the animation or fade in/out is done) & I have no idea how to fix this, it's really lame when I want to check how far I'm in a vid, or when I simply tip the mouse by accident.
Has this happened to any of you? Do you know any way to fix it? Please let me know.

I'm also getting 30-45 frames in JC2, I tried the optimal settings & it pretty much maxed everything out for me, I think that signifies that there shouldn't be a problem running the game. Disabling GPU Water simulation, Brokeh Filter & SSAO kinda helps, but it goes to shit when I try to record something, the same 30-45 deal, if not worse.
I've a Nvidia gtx 570 1280MB 3.8GHZ & i7 2600K Quad Core 3.4 GHZ 8MB.

Anyone else wanna post about how they're unable to help me?

sup, if u right-click on a the youtube flashplayer window, then go to "Options", go to the tab with the blue monitor and make sure to check "Enable hardware-acceleration" (or sth like that, there is only one option atleast for me ^^)

I've pretty much gone through all of the basics, yet nothing has helped me, but thanks for trying.
I've noticed that it mostly happens on playlisted vids, at some points it even lags when pausing/playing while not in fullscreen,

I have it on my laptop but not on my pc.. Guess my laptop gfc sucksass, did you try to disablemore thing sin the nvidia control center? i dont if its possible because i have ATI. Goodluck (: Might look tommorow on my laptop to find maybe a solution.

If its recently started doing it maybe you could try system restore?
-
I have bad experience with those.
Last time I lost all my minecraft saves & mods, skyrim saves & bunch of other stuff of great importance,
I've fiddled with the nvidia settings as well, they don't change a single thing, not for games, nor youtube.

try some different browser?

System restore shouldn't affect any files

Yeah, it's really weird that it did that. Most of the times it has worked perfectly, but sometimes it just fucks up. Once I had it delete a game, I'm not even kidding. On the flipside, really long time ago, when I wasn't as efficient with computers, I thought it would restore my files & it did, it brought back a game I had uninstalled & I thought for a long time that that's how it works.
Bottomline, system restore is like russian roulette for me, always has been.
