Tight match, both awesome editings..

Valu: Stunning blur effects you've used, it looked pretty cool. I also really liked the CC, that white diffusion feeling always it's great. Some cam angles looked weird sometimes and it's pretty weird to see that on you I suppose. Maybe I'm more like "added" to VC movement, but good work.

Phamus: The camera showing the whole city looked awesome combined with the beggining of the song (Don't think that I didn't saw the sync fail at 0:29 :P) other than the CC looked more fitting to the challenge itself, and camera movement too. Except for the first few angles that pancrop looked weird. Overall I think your entry sticks to the challenge.

Ok, this match has to do with Color Corrections and overall looks. His pan/crops will be left aside since it does not take part into the ratings.

To judges: You should rate based on how good each clip looks like, overall editing as effecs, pan/crops and anything else is just a "tie" criteria

This was also best good looking sa related too, but I'll be fast and just stick to rate CC as challenge says. I'll just wait and see for who I will vote, I'm doing this since I have a medium knowledge about editing in SA so..

I'm going to vote for valu, because Phamus' one had too much pink/purple which made it look too overdone and unrealistic.

My vote goes to valu.

Phamus, sorry for your mom, you're probably devastated :(

Yeah, i just returned from editing..

And I guess all those blurs I've done were meanless, I tried sticking to the objective of good color corrections and blur, but oh wekk  :euro:

I loved what Phamus did, that intro gave such a great feeling and so many HARD chills, but then it was a bit of a let down. Didnt felt like the intro did, also the quality wasn't that good and the CC is "oneminded" if you know what I mean.

Valu's work was slightly better - short and effective intro, great looks on the game and nice song which got me somehow happy...ish. My vote goes to Valu althought I was this close to vote for Phamus.

Valu: Awesome cc, really. Looks really stunning with that blur effect.
Phamus: Well, your cc was way too pink. It was still okay but far away from valu's.

The problem is that by the "most beautiful video" you may understand two things. It's either the very looks of the game or the atmosphere one has created. And here's the tricky part. While valu's entry was clearly better looking it had less emotions put into it. Phamus's one was really filled with atmosphere, which was really great.

By my understanding the challenge I will vote for Phamus, even though I saw XTO's post. Please man, state more clearly what challenge is about. Probably add in bracket word looks, like so "Create best......using this song(looks).

It's a mix of both things you mentioned, Kukiel. It's like having the greatest CC and depth and record it using 640x480x16.

Either way, I'll make side-notes telling you what you should do in the challenge.

Vote goes to Phamus, because overall, his entry looked better. Even if unrealistic and such, eveyrhing there fitted well, and the recording quality was pretty good. PM me in case you want a full review.

Valu: Disliked the song, it wasn't really beautiful, but the rest was cool.
Phamus: That song was nice and you really tried to work on the "beautiful" term of the challenge.

Hard to choose, but my vote goes to Phamus.
