Hey guys, I'd be really glad if you could share with me some really relaxing, slow music, something that you just lay down in the bed with your eyes closed & your headphones on & let it move you in a calming, pleasant state of trance & harmony. Something like this:
Le Mystère des Femmes. Musique David Arkenstone (Water of Life). (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTbuT_k5Y80#)
Tom Barabas - Endless Time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8skOfk5Vo8#)
Modest Mussorgsky - A teardrop (une larme) - MARGARET FINGERHUT (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dF-dRyoEe0E#)
Rimsky Korsakov - Scheherazade (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mV3VWW3THc#ws)
Thanks in advance! :)
-
Nirvana - Lake of Fire - Unplugged in New York (HQ) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=focxp_y0_IE#)
-
I was thinking more of something in the 1/2, 1/4 tempo, like, really slow & enchanting, but thanks for sharing.
-
Carbon Based Lifeforms or Emancipator perhaps?
-
Bohren & der Club of Gore might be the most relaxing band in the history of everything. Listen to it with rainymood.
Bohren & Der Club Of Gore - Midnight Walker (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znJGiSqfbas#)
-
It's not really what you described, but it's great:
Black Sabbath - Planet Caravan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA61RUHmhOQ#)
Also,
Brian Eno - And then so Clear (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcK8_kKCsq8#)
-
(Binaural Beats) Lucid Dreaming Meditation Music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqYdkp5YXV8#)
Not really a song but it does relax me a lot.

Carbon Based Lifeforms or Emancipator perhaps?
Not really, since I have both their discographies on my player
Emancipator is more an outdoor music, to me at least. I really love listening to it while walking & observing some beautiful sceneries & enjoying the weather, love that feel. Especially when it's sunny & lively out.
But good attempt, nonetheless :cc_detective:

It's not really what you described, but this song is definitely one of my favorites for relaxing:
Black Sabbath - Planet Caravan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA61RUHmhOQ#)
Yeah, not really what I'm looking for, but it's a good song nonetheless

If you like that, you should listen to some mantras, they're fucking boss! I listen to that kind of stuff a lot as well, will give it a shot. Thanks! :euro:

Final Fantasy piano collections, just download them all and find your favorites. I listen to IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X and X-2 regularly, they're beautiful.

There's No Place Like Home - LOST Season 4 Soundtrack (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEVCE6aTmhw#)

Look for music in the ambient genre.
Gas - Microscopic *HD* (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8JcvqCDvwY#ws)

Bonobo - 1009 HD (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AboQSdMVR80#ws)
One of the most relaxing uplifting trance for me, from 2:50 on it completly free my mind everytime :P
Daniel Kandi - Breathe (Sunny Lax Remix) [HD] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LykKQVV9dhA#ws)
-
Padsbanger - Eleventh Dimension / Naibu - Habitat
The first one is pure ambient, very relaxing. And the second one is one of my favourites releases lately. It's mostly relaxing drum and bass but also dub and a bit of ambient. I can't pick the best songs, so just download these two albums, you won't be dissapointed ;) You can also check ediT - Crying Over Pros For No Reason. It's glitch / idm but damn, it's relaxing and not as annoying as other artists from this genre.
-
Uhh dunno if it's what you are searching for, but yeah :P
Skepticism - The Falls (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_66z9nxsgjg#)
-
Bersarin Quartett - Mehr Als Alles Andere (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsSh2_o_1zU#)
It gets faster later on but still pretty calm.

For some reason I enjoy listening to Hatebreed when I'm drifting to sleep, it's like the music absorbs all my energy and anger leaving me in a peaceful state of mind. Listening to what's been branded as "sleep-music" usually leaves me restless and unsatisfied.
Hatebreed - Before Dishonor (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gv-hBMUtVhE#)
Hatebreed "In Ashes They Shall Reap" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pj0UnN7jW1k#ws)
Hatebreed - "Destroy Everything" - official music video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBwgX8yBqsw#ws)
E/ Seems like you specifically asked for slowpaced music, my mistake :P

Some of these are very slow, can't think of something else right now.

School of Emotional Engineering - To Be Continued / Refrain (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOm3KBeHR-s#)
