Title: Long time no see.
Post by: Akuen on February 02, 2012, 01:18:44 AM: Well, it's been a few(?) years since I was on last, mostly because this site went down for a while. Either way I'm back. I doubt anyone remembers me because it's been so long but eh. I doubt I'll make any videos though because last time I got complaints of "done before by *insert famous name here*" or "Too simplistic because it wasn't a bump2grind2grab". Nonetheless, I missed this community. Watching all the amazing videos people released. Although it appears there isn't much San Andreas stuff released anymore. Reinstalling SA was what prompted me to check if the site was up again by the by. I wonder if my old WH video is still on here...

EDIT: It was HR not WH.

There is alot of SA stuff being released , check the video releases section of DV (This one in the hall of fame) , SSU and WH. These crews released the best SA videos in the past years (excluding solos of course).

Post by: Akuen on February 02, 2012, 02:35:05 AM: Thanks for that. I'm glad to see that Daffy is still around. Him and Kr3mlin were pretty much my favourite stunters back in the day. After watching those and seeing the same spots being used I guess the same spot hysteria has died down. I don't know about the massively complicated stunt requirements but they seem to have lessened. Perhaps I will give it a shot. If I can find my old copy of VC I might install that again and give it a crack. The only nagging thought is that the last video I was in got a lot of criticism. That wasn't the problem. The problem was that it was all "This sucked" with no reason given. Ah well. I've never been that great so I think I'll probably do it for the sake of doing it.

Let's see.... I had a signature shop for a while. I worked in a skinning shop for a while and I had a grand total of about three videos including that HR video that was Bazrun, Blondz, Rainbow, Must_Die and me. I certainly remember you though fighter and Puzzle :)

I'm also glad to see that there's a lot of new blood here. I got the itch and recorded some stuff last night. Simple stuff mostly. I'm no good at multi-layered stunts. There was one spot in particular that I know I probably could have done without the packer but I just couldn't get it and after about half an hour I just gave in and did it the easy way.

Out with the old, in with the new. Yeah, I've recorded some SA stuff. I'll see if I can find a copy of VC at EbGames or something.
