Title: {S} PtRvY's Scripting Shop

This shop for now sells only scripts. San Andreas (United and AC included) and Vice City (LC and SAiVC included).

Since this is work that requires a lot of focus and commitment, I will be able to take max. 1-2 projects at any moment. I will be asking other scripters to help me out with this and if they agree then maybe we'll be able to take on more projects at once.

Current status: INACTIVE (but check back in a month or two)

How to request?
Comment in here if you are interested in an intro script for me, and I will shortly reply via PM when I'm available. Then you need to tell me (via PM or MSN) what do you want for your intro (preferably in a .txt file). Then I will reply with saying whether or not I'm capable of accepting that, and if I accepted I'll tell you the price and the approximate time it will take to get it finished. Please, don't get mad if my assessment was wrong (it often happens in scripting that something looks far more easy than it is).

What do I get?
When your script is completed, you will receive a main.scm and script.img file (if it's a VC script, you only get a main.scm file). Put those in your /data/script folder in San Andreas (/data folder in Vice City), start a new game, and your script will play out, ready for recording. If you are interested I could record/edit it for you, but that might add up to the price. Try to notify me while requesting if you want me to perform the editing.

How high are the prices?
Prices will range from 80 to 200 credits depending on the difficulty of the script. I shall assess the difficulty myself. I reserve the right to change this range.

What rights do I have on the script I've bought?
After you receive the script and the payment is made, the script is completely yours. I transfer all the rights of usage, modifying and selling to the buyer. I only keep a copy of the code on my PC for future reference. The only thing you should do is give credit to the script's creator in any video it gets used.

I could make scripts in the VC engine upon request but I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to that, so I can't perform a great level of actions.

I can script a talking animation, but I can't script actual sounds.

Through scripting I can take control of any ped model you'd like, and give him any animation which exists in the game.

It's nice to see so many people interested in a script! But is there anyone whose project I can take on right now? :a-cheer:

I've located a script I've made a few months ago for a friend but he didn't need it in the end so I saved it. It contains cool shots of downtown San Fierro revolving around a player (which can easily be reskinned to any clothes you want - or any other in game ped). The camera is moving really slow - when you speed the clip up in vegas the traffic and people seem to be passing by rather quickly, which makes a perfect atmosphere of a busy town flowing around the stationary player. And another cool thing: The traffic's scripted by the game, so every time you record it you'll get a different looking clip!

This kind of a script is great for a solo or collab without a particular theme in my opinion.

I am selling this neat script for 90 credits. If you are interested, send me a PM and I'll provide you with a clip of how it could look. It only goes to the first bidder!

however i'm keeping a great scripting idea in my mind, which franco was supposed to make, but then he dissapierd, the time he couldn't finnish Orion, so what i'm trying to tell is, that i might buy that script someday, not in a near future though :P
Good job Petar, and tottaly awesome idea, since scripts allways make videos more interesting, and better, so you don't have to harden your brain and make some fx intro :>

When you buy a script from me it's yours for life. I give up all rights of usage and transfer them to you, so it doesn't matter if you buy it now and then make your video in 2020. The only thing I ask is a mention of who created the script.

So if you're interested in a script like that in the future you should definitely check out how it looks, because this is a one-time offer and I don't plan on making more scripts like this (except upon request - but in that case I'd definitely ask more than 90 creds).

Scripting allows you to take control of the game's resources and use them in any way you want. You can spawn a player, make him go anywhere, drive a car, perform animations, interact with objects... just about anything the game can offer. Also it lets you have full control of the camera and its movements. So, scripting is a great way to create some cinematic scenes which can then be used in videos, usually as intros.

btw, GDL's script just got released in a video, so I'll link it in the projects part :euro:
